Margaret: The older sister of our new fav Midge. Truth be told, it's just a Midge with a 3/4 sleeve. We took the fun loving, ruffled Midge and said "sorry, but you need to get with the business casual dress code." That doesn't sound sexy, but it IS practical. Speaking of practicality: The Margaret Dress has two adjustable buttons on the forearm to accommodate varying arm sizes, perfect princess seams for a variety of busts, and big ol' pockets too. We paid close attention to the back, so it wouldn't get loose back there, even with the bust detailing.

Inspired by 1940’s sweetheart souvenirs, we offer a modern take on an old classic! You can get your honey's name embroidered, your own, or like, corndogs. We brought back one of our favorite traditions and it is stitched personally by Tuesday.
Chainstitch embroidery lends itself beautifully to cursive script lettering, coincidentally ALL CAPS and INITIALS do not lend themselves to chain stitch script. Please avoid using more than 2 Capital Letters side by side when picking your custom embroidery. All our embroidery is done freehand style, so you can expect charming imperfections and the appearance of being hand embroidered. We like it like that. If you're looking for something *computer perfect* we do not suggest ordering our embroidery, as it is truly hand made.

We make everything to order at ToC for a few reasons: to combat waste, to be as size inclusive as possible, and to keep costs lower for you! Our pieces are up for preorder for one week at a time. After the preorder period, we make pieces with our small sewing workshops. Production can take from one to 3 months depending on complexity and our sewist's schedule.
As of spring 2025, our clothes are made in and shipped from Berlin, Germany.
Our clothing items are preorders and ship once they are done being sewn. Production time is +/- 3 months. We ship from our office in Berlin, Germany via Asendia, who partners with local postal services.
Free, tracked international shipping comes standard with all orders! Ascendia can be a bit slow crossing to other countries, so if you'd prefer the faster DHL option, you can elect to pay for it.
Each Tuesday of California item is made to order, which means that our items are final sale and we do not accept requests for returns or store credit. We begin production one week after our preorder starts and you have that time before production begins to email us if you'd like to cancel your order.
If you live in the USA or Canada, you can resell your item on our PRELOVED site and can DM us to post about your item for sale on instagram.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Because our items are made to order, the EU cooling off period does not apply to us. We begin production one week after our preorder starts and you have that time before production begins to email us if you'd like to cancel your order.
